Crafted from grasses native to Kenya and Tanzania, each of these 27” strands is lovingly made by the Maasai women who live there. They cut and dry the grass and intersperse Czech glass beads with it on the durable elastic filament (developed for the movie, “Spider Man.”) Colorful and versatile, each strand can be worn as a necklace, bracelet, anklet, hair tie, waist adornment – you decide! And grouped together, the three strands are amazingly sophisticated and elegant. (Choose your color range in the options box below.) Eco-friendly, this creative grass and bead jewelry provides food, clothing and education for Maasai women and their children.
